Black watches are some of the most stylish timepieces around. They come in various styles and sizes, from simple analog models to complicated chronographs. If you want to add a bit of class to your wrist, then black dial watches are definitely worth checking out.
There are several reasons why black watches are considered to be the perfect accessory for men. First, they look great on almost every skin tone. Second, they go well with almost anything else you wear. And finally, they don’t show dirt or sweat very easily.
Whether you prefer classic designs or modern ones, these watches offer something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for a watch that looks good on both casual and formal occasions, or simply a watch that complements your outfit, you’ll find exactly what you’re looking at here.
Seiko 5 Sports SRPD79
The Seiko 5 Sports SRPD 79 is part of Seiko’s “Street Style” line of watches. This affordable model features a blacked-out look thanks to a combination of a black case, black dial, black bezel, black lume, and black strap.
While it looks like a standard Seiko 5 Sports Diver, the SRPD79 is actually built around Seiko’s tried and tested dive watch formula. There’s no date window, just a big 4 o’clock crown and a small subdial at 12 o’clock. In addition, there’s a large, chunky diving bezel, a blackened day/date wheel, a blacked-out hour hand, and even a blacked-out second hand.
This isn’t the only way to go about creating a dark sports watch though. You could use a completely different color scheme, such as the one used here. Or you could make the entire thing black, including the hands, indices, and markers. Either way, we think this is a great-looking piece for under $200.
Timex + Todd Snyder Q Blackout
Todd Snyder is one of the best designers working today, and his collaborations with brands like Rolex and Fossil are some of our favorites. Todd Snyder now teamed up with Timex again, and this time they’ve taken inspiration from the original ’70s Q model.
The Blackout is Snyder’s latest creation, and it mixes up what makes the original such a great watch — the retro styling, the classic black case, and the round face — with a few tweaks of its own. The biggest change is the addition of a black leather band, a sleek bracelet, and a crosshairs dial. There’s also a matte finish on the case back and bezel, and a silver-toned applied index scale.
Zenith DEFY Classic Black Ceramic
The watch world knows Zenith for its chronograph lines, including the legendary El Primero collection. But there are many other models in the Zenith lineup that deserve attention too. One such model is the DEFY Classic. This watch features a black ceramic case, an open-worked dial, and a black rubber strap. It is powered by the automatic movement ZEN001.
This model is part of the DEFY Classic family. In addition to this particular watch, you can find others in steel, titanium, and gold versions. All three variations feature the same design language, with the exception of color choice.
Omega Seamaster Diver 300M “Black Black”
The Omega Seamaster Diver 300 M “Black Black” is a limited edition model of the classic Seamaster diver watch. This black version features a unique combination of anthracite Super-Luminova and a special black Cerachrom bezel. In addition, the movement is decorated with a black lacquer treatment on the bridges and balance wheel.
This limited edition watch is inspired by the famous Seamaster Diver 500 M “Black”, launched in 1987. The new model is distinguished by its anthracite Super-luminova decoration and a black Cerachrom beveled edge.
The Omega Seamster Divers are known worldwide for their high quality, reliability, and timeless design. They are one of the most popular models among diverse and professional athletes.
The Omega Seamonster Diver 300 M “Black” is equipped with a mechanical automatic caliber OMEGA 863.14. Its movement is protected by the Swiss chronometer certification.
Montblanc 1858 Geosphere Ultrablack
The Montblanc 1858 Geospheres are one of the most sought-after models among vintage collectors. In fact, there are very few remaining examples in existence today. For the 2018 model, the iconic watchmaker has taken things up a notch. With the addition of a black dial, the case size has increased slightly to 42 mm and the water resistance has gone up from 50 m to 100 m. This makes it the perfect companion for adventurers around the globe.
Luminox Original Navy SEAL Evo 3001 Blackout
The Luminox Original Navy SEAL EVO 3001 Blackout is the perfect choice for those looking for a rugged, reliable, and stylish dive watch. This is the ideal choice for anyone who enjoys adventure sports like surfing, diving, kayaking, camping, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, biking, running, etc. because it offers the best performance in extreme weather conditions.
This is no ordinary black watch. Its design incorporates the brand’s signature tritium gas-powered luminous hands and markers, and the entire dial is coated with a special anti-reflective coating that allows the wearer to see clearly even in low-light situations. In addition, the watch features a unique “always-on” feature that provides continuous illumination without draining the battery.
This watch is designed to withstand the elements. Its durable carbon fiber case and stainless steel bracelet are both constructed to withstand harsh environments. Additionally, the watch is rated to withstand up to 200 meters of water pressure.
Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium Auto
The Hamilton Khaki Field features a rugged design that is perfect for those who like to live life on the edge. This model is built for the toughest environments, and it looks great doing it.
This stainless steel watch is protected by a scratch-resistant mineral glass crystal and water resistant up to 100 meters. The dial is crafted out of durable PVD-coated titanium and the hands are finished off with a contrasting white Superluminova coating.
Inside the watch is a Swiss-made automatic caliber, the HMC80, which boasts an impressive 80 hours of power reserve.
Christopher Ward C63 Colchester
The Colchester is Christopher Ward’s latest addition to his collection of lightweight military watches. With a diameter of 43mm, it’s one of the smallest models he’s ever produced. Its weight is even lighter thanks to a special injection process that allows him to use a thinner steel case.
While most of the components are standard fare for a dive watch—a sapphire crystal, a mineral glass lens, and a screw-down crown—the Colchester features some unique touches. For starters, there’s a pop-out crown that pops up when you want to wear it. There’s also a removable strap that lets you swap it out whenever you feel like it. And finally, the entire watch is waterproofed so you don’t have to worry about getting it wet while diving.
Longines Legend Diver
The long-running Swiss luxury watchmaker Longines has always had a strong reputation for offering beautifully crafted watches of great quality. In recent times, however, the brand has become known for its ability to offer classic designs in updated form. This is certainly true of the Legend Diver, a model that has been around since the early 1980s.
In 2017, Longines introduced a new version of the Legend Diver, called the Legend Diver 2.0. Its design was inspired by the original, and it features a stainless steel case and black dial. But what really sets it apart is the use of a new movement from ETA.
This is a manual wind movement, which adds a degree of complication to the otherwise simple design. It offers a power reserve of 48 hours and is water resistant up to 300 meters.
Bell & Ross BR 03-92 PHANTOM
The Bell & Ross BR 03-02 Phantom is one of our favorite timepieces ever. And now it gets even better. We are proud to announce the next iteration of the Phantom, the BR 03-92. This new model continues the tradition of being a true stealth watch, while simultaneously adding some high-tech features.
In addition to the already impressive capabilities of the BR 03-92, we added a few extra bells and whistles to make this watch truly unique. For example, the hands and hour markers are completely invisible. They are hidden behind a layer of black ceramic, making them virtually impossible to see. In fact, there is no indication of what time it is unless you look directly at the face.
Additionally, the dial is entirely black, with only the numerals and indices remaining white. The entire case is covered in black, giving the BR 03-92 a very unique appearance. To complete the stealthy look, we added a black leather band, allowing the wearer to blend into the background like never before.
IWC Pilot’s Watch Double Chronograph TOP GUN Ceratanium
The IWC Pilot’s Watch Double Chronograph TOP GUAN Ceratanium is a special edition of the iconic pilot’s watch from Switzerland. With a unique combination of ceramic and titanium, it features a black dial with gold indices and hands, a white leather strap, and a polished steel case.
To make things even cooler, there are two different versions of the watch—one with a blue dial and another with a brown dial. Both watches feature a double chronograph function, which allows you to track elapsed seconds and minutes separately. This makes it perfect for pilots since it lets them know how much time they have left during takeoff and landing. The watch is water resistant up to 60 meters, making it ideal for both land and sea adventures.
